About Mitch

Evolution Athletic Performance was founded by Mitchell Vorley to provide athletes, coaches and sporting organisations with practical, evidence-led strength and conditioning support.

Mitch’s approach combines high-performance principles with clear coaching and systems that can be applied consistently in real-world environments.

Meet Mitch Vorley

Mitchell Vorley is an ASCA Level 2 Professional Strength & Conditioning Coach and Head of Performance at the Illawarra Academy of Sport.

His experience spans youth athletic development, school sport, academy and pathway programs, professional club environments and work with Olympic-level athletes. Previous and current roles include Sydney Grammar School, the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra Dragons.

Mitch has coached athletes across rugby league, rugby, football, rowing, tennis, basketball and other sports. That breadth has reinforced a simple principle: performance training must be specific enough to matter, but practical enough to complete consistently.

EAP was created to make that standard of coaching and system development more accessible to individual athletes, clubs and coaches throughout the Illawarra and online.

How Mitch Coaches

Evidence led: Training decisions are guided by established principles, objective information and the needs of the athlete, not trends.

Individualised and practical: Programs reflect the sport, training age, schedule, facilities and support available.

Long term development: The aim is to improve performance while building the physical qualities and habits athletes need to keep progressing.

Clear communication: Athletes, parents and coaches should understand what is being trained, why it matters and how progress will be judged.
